Cypermethrin is a stomach and contact insecticide. It is widely used in cereals vegetables and fruit for food storage in public health and in animal husbandry. This insecticide is derived from pyrethrum a natural insecticide which is contained in chrysanthemum flowers. Cypermethrin however has a higher biological activity and is more stable than its natural model.
