Ammonium Sulphate comes in crystalline powder and consists of 21% nitrogen and 24% sulphur in a single bag of fertilizer. Ammonium Sulphate is one of the broadly applied fertilizers in agriculture and can be used on any type of agricultural crops (from potatoes to citrus plants) regardless of the type of soils used in planting, whether acidic or alkaline soils. In its raw form, this fertilizer is easily assimilated by the plants. Sulphur is necessary for all crops as it forms a part of some indispensable amino acids synthesized by plants.
